Los Angeles-based director/screenwriter Bedabrata Pain's directorial debut Chittagong was screened on October 3 at Cinemax Versova, a western Mumbai suburb.

Oscar-winning sound engineer Resul Pookutty and actor Anil Kapoor were spotted sharing a light moment with Pain at the premiere.

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who also stars in the film, arrived formally dressed for the premiere.

Siddiqui's Gangs Of Wasseypur costar Huma Qureshi looked fetching in her colourful salwar kameez as she arrived to attend the premiere.

Also spotted arriving at the premiere, actor/filmmaker Rajat Kapoor was sporting a scruffy beard.

Veteran actress and activist Shabana Azmi, who recently celebrated her 62nd birthday, flashed a smile for the shutterbugs.

Filmmaker Vishal Bharadwaj and actor Sonu Sood were also among the stars who attended the premiere.
