June 06, 2011 11:23 IST

The cast of Dr. LoveLove is very much in the air in director K Biju's first Malayalam venture, Dr Love with Kunchacko Boban playing the role of a 'romance consultant' for some college youngsters.

Shooting for the film, produced under the banner of Jithin Arts by Joy Thomas Shakthikulangara, is currently underway in Changanacherry, with Shaji behind the camera and Vinu Thomas composing the music.

"The story unfolds on campus where Vinayachandran (Kunchacko Boban) aka Dr Love advises the youngsters who are desperately in love. Ebin (played by Bhavana) is a student and quite a tomboy. Gauri (Ananya) is an insurance agent," says the director, who has written the script as well.

Kunchacko Boban says that his character in the film is that of a "hardcore romantic who is, of course, involved in a love affair as well." He is happy with the way his career has been progressing, particularly the success of Seniors, he says.

Bhavana, who plays one of the two female leads, says, "In Dr Love, I am quite a bold girl and a gang leader. It is fun being part of this one."

Bhavana is also excited about being part of the Mohanlal-Priyadarsan film Arabiyum Ottakavum P Madhavan Nairum which is currently on a schedule break.

Others in the cast of Dr Love are a host of young actors including Manikkuttan, Bhagath Manuel, Aju, Sravan, Rajith Menon, Pradeep, Vidya Unni (younger sister of former heroine Divya Unni) and Nimisha.
