Tezaab magic again?N Chandra, Anil Kapoor

N Chandra and Anil Kapoor made history with Tezaab in 1988. Subsequently, they teamed up for Humlaa, which bombed.

The actor has teamed up with Chandra again. "Why not?" he asks. "We did Tezaab, didn't we? Even in Humlaa, I think my performance was okay, whatever the film's fate. Why can't we do something equally exciting again? The script he has narrated to me is outstanding."

Anil is sure the duo will recreate the Tezaab magic, never mind Chandra's recent films like Style.

Patching up is easy with KareenaKareena

On January 23, producer Boney Kapoor and his Khushi team were in Delhi for the inauguration of a new multiplex. Unfortunately, Kareena Kapoor could not accompany them as she was unwell. She flew down to the capital later to join Boney and Fardeen Khan in time for the event. Boney could not stop smiling at his leading lady's supportive stance.

"I have known Boneyji and his family for years," says Kareena. "He is like a father figure. We have fought 15 times and patched up 16 times!" 

Madhavan: heroine wantedMadhavan

Tamil star Madhavan has a unique problem. He has to start shooting for his latest film Nala Damayanti (produced by Kamal Haasan) and has to fly abroad for the same. "But I've no leading lady!" he cries.

The unit is supposed to fly in two days. Yet they have not found a lead actress for the film. "There is an acute shortage of leading ladies in Chennai. I don't know what to do. How many films can I do with Simran and Jyotika?" he says.

Why Nandita Das is happyNandita Das

Her sudden marriage to ad man Soumya Sen surprised many film folk. "It may have been sudden. But I have never been happier. In fact, my husband will join me here," Nandita Das laughs on the sets of Anant Balani's Big City Blues.

Nandita intends to continue with her career in full swing. Her next release will be the Hinglish flick Bas Yun Hi, opposite Channel V deejay Purab.

Actresses Pooja Batra and Rinke Khanna will also tie the knot soon.
