TCS and HAL have commenced collaboration to provide end-to-end engineering solutions and services to global customers, TCC and HAL said in a joint release on Wednesday.
"With increasing interest in global sourcing of engineering services, the combination of HAL and TCS will offer compelling value propositions for global clients," S Ramadorai, TCS managing director and CEO said.
HAL chairman A K Baweja said the HAL-TCS partnership would leverage the engineering tradition in India to offer end-to-end solutions to the global aerospace industry.
"With TCS's international presence spread across 55 countries and HAL domain expertise, the partners will be able to go to market aggressively," he said.
TCS already provides IT and engineering services to several global aerospace companies while HAL has expertise in aircraft design and development with capabilities of manufacturing and testing, it added.
