The Film and Television Institute of India, Pune (FTII), an autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt. of India is inviting applications for admission to various undergraduate courses at the institute.
How to apply
Interested candidates will have to send an application to the institute -- online or by post in order to appear for an entrance exam to qualify for the course.
The prospectus containing the application form and other details may be obtained on request along with a demand draft of Rs.2150 for General Category and Rs.650 for SC, ST and Economically Backward candidates (Parents should be BPL card holders) drawn on any of the Nationalised Banks in favour of "Accounts Officer, Film and Television Institute of India," payable at Pune.
Requests for prospectus by post will be entertained till February 3, 2012.
Prospectus can also be obtained personally from the information and facilitation counter (Tutorial Section), Film and Television Institute of India and one may also apply online till February 29, 2012 on www.ftiindia.com.
The date of exam can be changed if there are unavoidable reasons. The exam will be held at the following centers: Agartala, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Deharadun, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, New Delhi, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, and Thiruvananthapuram.
Important dates
The entrance examination for all the courses will be held on May 6, 2012 (Sunday).
Last date for receipt of filled application forms is February 29, 2012.
