Actress and recording artist Janelle Monae steps into her own installation -- 'What's Your Frequency?'.
She said in an Instagram post, 'I was inspired by the ongoing conversations I had been having with my friends & fam around mass surveillance, cultural uniformity, and the weaponization of technology. The question that always comes up is is modern society waging an invisible war against the individual? I wanted to speak on that.
'I wanted to create a space that allowed us to talk to ourselves and perhaps one another as we examine our own complex humanity.'
