Should I do business administration from Symbiosis?

Karthik Iyer, 24-year-old Get Ahead reader and philosophy graduate, is facing a career dilemma.
He has two years of work experience and would now like to study further.
Since he wants to continue working, he feels a distance-learning programme is a viable option.
He is considering the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration offered by the Symbiosis Center for Distance Learning.
However, Karthik is not fully convinced about the course and needs some answers -- and fast -- because the last day for application to the programme is July 15.
His questions:
1. What is the value of the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration offered by SCDL in the job market?
2. Is there a better programme offered by another institute?
