Faux-pas: BCCI forget to include Mukund's name in contract list!

In a major goof-up, the BCCI on Saturday forgot to mention batsman Abhinav Mukund's name in its contracted list of cricketers.

The Board subsequently sent out a statement saying that Mukund's name features in Grade C, which also has S Sreesanth [ Images ], Amit Mishra [ Images ], Munaf Patel [ Images ] and Cheteshwar Pujara [ Images ] among others.

"Abhinav Mukund's name was missing from the list of the players contracted by the BCCI for the 2011-12 season. Mukund is in Grade C," BCCI secretary Sanjay Jagdale said in a statement.

The BCCI had announced the list at its working committee meeting, held in Kolkata [ Images ] earlier on Saturday.
