A local court has ordered the police to issue a Non-Bailable Warrant against a doctor couple in Parli, Maharashtra -- Sudam and Saraswati Munde -- in an illegal sex determination case. In 2010, Satara-based social activist Varsha Deshpande had carried out a sting operation at Sudam Munde's hospital in Parli tehsil of Beed for allegedly conducting illegal sex determination tests.
The Bombay high court on Thursday upheld the order of a magistrate's court rejecting the plea seeking documents regarding the sex determination test allegedly undergone by actor Shahrukh Khan's wife prior to the birth of the couple's third child.
Earlier, the 47-year-old superstar had rubbished allegations over the pre-natal gender tests on his third child.
