Police have filed a case against Shoolini University in Solan following the suicide of a former MBA student who alleged harassment by his employer. The student, Nitin Chauhan, claimed he was underpaid and overworked after being placed in a company in Dehradun.
India has 54 institutions in the QS World University Rankings, making it the 4th most represented country after the US (192), the UK (90) and China (72).
India has also become the fourth best represented nation in the 2024 rankings, up from sixth last year.
