The chairman of the PCB, Ijaz Butt has made it clear that the former Pakistan One-day skipper Shahid Afridi is no longer a captaincy material for the PCB.
Shahid Afridi is likely to be retained as the One-day captain for the ICC World Cup 2011 after chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ijaz Butt held discussions with the team management in New Zealand and chief operating officer in Lahore.
Pakistan cricket coach Waqar Younis, on Sunday, refused to step down from his position despite being in the line of fire for the team's disastrous World Twenty20 campaign, saying that he will not go out as a 'villain'.
