Pakistan international kabaddi player Ubaidullah Rajput has been banned indefinitely by the national federation after he appeared for an Indian team in a private tournament in Bahrain
A sport ministry source said the government has not granted permission to any athlete to travel to Pakistan for the event.
The Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) has written a letter to its Pakistani counterpart, asking it not to allow the "unauthorised" Indian team, which is under investigation by the Sports Ministry, to use the national flag during Sunday's final of the circle style World Cup.
A Sports Ministry source said that 'the minister (Kiren Rijiju) is set to start an inquiry.'
