Toughening his stand against migrants, specially north Indians, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray on Thursday indicated that his party would launch more intense agitation on the issue.
A Jamshedpur court on Thursday issued a warrant of arrest against chief of Maharashtra Navanirman Sena (MNS), Raj Thackeray for his alleged derogatory remarks on chhat festival, popular among North Indians, "hurting" the religious sentiments.
"We are not against the common man or the migrant workers from UP and Bihar. If somebody changes according to the house of the host (Maharashtra), he is welcome, but if somebody wants to change the host's home by dadagiri (force), we will never tolerate it," Raj asserted.
