Martin Goodwill of England defeated reigning champion Sourav Kothari in the IBSF World Billiards Championship, while Pankaj Advani dominated his group. Several other Indian players also advanced to the knockout stage.
The Indian went down to Myanmar's Kyaw Oo in the pre-quarterfinal match of the IBSF World Billiards Championships.
