Being a Himesh Reshammiya soundtrack, it's bound to find its share of buyers and admirers. If only Karzzzz wasn't burdened with the presence of SO MANY songs. It tends to get unbelievably tedious after a point. On second thoughts, the extra Zzz's, in the title, finally begin to make sense.

Catch the promos of Shahid Kapur's latest film, Paathshala -- which is slated for January next -- when you go to watch Karzzzz this Friday. Paathshala is directed by Milind Ukey and also stars Nana Patekar, Ayesha Takia, Sushant Singh and popular child artistes, Swini Khare [Cheeni Kum], Ali Haji [Fanaa, Partner] and Dwij Yadav [Nanhe Jaisalmer].
Actor-director Satish Kaushik is unfazed about Karzzzz. "Comparisons are inevitable but unavoidable. Karzzz is my way of paying homage to the mesmerising cinema of 80's, to Subhash Ghai's revered cult film Karz." Kaushik says. The filmmaker also cannot stop gushing about Himesh Reshammiya [he plays rock star Monty, immortalised by Rishi Kapoor in 1980's reincarnation drama].
Himesh Reshammiya has signed three-film contract with T- series. He will act in Karzzzz, Kajra Re and A Love Issshtory. Karzzzz will release in October.
