Bhartiya Janata Party leader Vinay Katiyar has "threatened to expose Justice Liberhan's intent" behind party leaders Atal Behari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani for their alleged involvement in the Babri Masjid demolition. Deputy Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj tore apart the Justice Liberhan Commission report, probing the Babri Masjid demolition, on Tuesday and asked the government to reject it.
In his report, Justice Liberhan said the senior police officers were at hand to ensure that their men toed the line and that the demolition of the disputed structure was allowed to go ahead with "military precision as orchestrated by the leaders present at the spot and carried out by their henchmen."
