In a complaint filed with the US Department of Labor in May, Palmer said Infosys and eight of its senior executives denied him work, bonuses and promotions and later terminated him, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.
Infosys had earlier requested the court to decide the case filed by its former employee Jack Palmer on the alleged B-1 business visa misuse by an arbitrator instead of a judge or a jury.
The judge ruled that that Palmer failed to prove his claims against Infosys -- including breach of contract and fraudulent misrepresentation, under Alabama state law and therefore had no right to recover damages.
The reason for the postponement couldn't be immediately ascertained.

B1 visas are essentially short-term visas for business travellers, which allow a person to stay for six months to a year.
