Sahara One Media and Entertainment Ltd said on Monday Aircel Televentures would acquire its 14.98 per cent stake for Rs 119.97 crore (Rs 1.19 billion).
Cellphone service provider Aircel Televentures on Friday said it was evaluating various offers from Indian and overseas telecom firms including a Russian firm which has offered to buy its 49 per cent stake.
The ED had filed the first chargesheet in the case against Chidambaram's son Karti; later, a supplementary chargesheet was also filed against him.
The statements of the Mukerjeas were recorded by the Enforcement Directorate, which is probing the money laundering angle in the case, while the CBI had only recorded Indrani's statement before a magistrate as per section 164 of the CrPC, they said.
Officials said the agency had issued a notice to Karti to present himself in person or through an authorised representative and submit personal financial documents and those related to a firm this week.
The probe pertains to firms identified as Advantage Strategic Consulting Private Limited and Chess Global Advisory Services Pvt Ltd, where Karti had been a director
The ED said that Chidambaram has remained evasive and therefore grant of pre-arrest bail at this stage would be highly detrimental to the investigation.
