The special Lokayukta court in Bengaluru on Saturday adjourned to September 22 further hearing on a complaint filed against former Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa in a case of alleged graft.
With her remarks on Arun Jaitley regarding Reddy brothers threatening to snowball into a major row, Bharatiya Janata Party president Nitin Gadkari on Saturday stepped in to virtually snub Sushma Swaraj, saying any debate on the choice of ministers in Karnataka in the media is "totally unnecessary".
Notwithstanding Centre rejecting H R Bhardwaj's recommendation on imposing President's rule in Karnataka, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa on Monday said he would continue to demand the recall of the Governor, who "acted in a partisan manner".
