Five law students of Jamia Millia Islamia University were on Wednesday chargesheeted in a court for allegedly confining and gang-raping a minor girl at their residence last year. The probe agency submitted its chargesheet before Metropolitan Magistrate Gaurav Rao, who took cognisance of the matter and fixed February 6 for scrutiny of the documents.
Justice V K Jain also asked the university to allow Pulkit Chaudhary, Amandeep Kadian and Sharad Shekhar Tomar, who were asked to discontinue their studies on the allegations, to sit for their exams missed during the pendency of the trial.
