For the first time, an Indian university has made it to the top 15 of the Times Higher Education University Rankings.
The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru is placed in the 301-350 group of the Times Higher Education Rankings 2020 released Wednesday.
India has also become the fourth best represented nation in the 2024 rankings, up from sixth last year.
The only Indian university in THE world rankings this year.
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore is India's top institution in the 'Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2016-17.
