The Jammu and Kashmir police has lost 898 officers and jawans besides 470 special police officers (SPO) in past two decades while fighting the militancy in the Valley . Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khuda said this while speaking on the occasion of releasing of Parakaram Padak medals to 463 jawans and officers of the police.
