Two persons were killed and 14 others injured when the two-storied portion of a women's ward of BHEL-runKasturbaHospital in Bhopal collapsed Friday evening, officials said.
Observance of the 27th anniversary of the Bhopal gas disaster took a violent turn on Saturday with a number of people, including two senior district officials, injured in stone pelting, while protesters indulged in arson, the police said.
The overhead water tank of Bhopal Municipal Corporation collapsed at Saibaba Nagar at around 1 AM, killing seven persons and trapping a large number of others, Bhopal Collector Nikunj Shrivastava told PTI.
