An Indian student, who had enrolled for an MBA in the United Kingdom, was critically stabbed in the London borough of Newham on Friday night, Scotland Yard said on Saturday. Eleven people have been arrested following the stabbing of the Indian student, who was not named by the Scotland Yard.
A 19-member Indian team of middle and long distance runners on Friday left for London for a six-week training-cum-competition tour in the European circuit. The team comprising 11 men, four women, two coaches and a support staff will train at Newham Sports Academy, located at the London 2012 Olympics borough.
