A major fire broke out on Tuesday in a multi-storeyed luxury hotel in Thane, near Mumbai, fire officials said. The incident took place at nearly 11.15 am. Over a dozen fire tenders have been rushed to the spot to douse the blaze, which has engulfed the ten-storeyed building at the Ghodbunder road locality in the city, officials said. Fire-fighting operations are still going on, and all the people in the building have been evacuated.
