Last year's runners-up East Bengal registered a thrilling 4-3 win over Kalighat Milan Sangha to set up a semi-final clash against Churchill Brothers in the 34th Federation Cup.
Initially, the club had planned to help those in and around football with the vaccinations, along with people from not so fortunate backgrounds.
The qualifying rounds of the 34th Federation Cup football tournament will be held in Jamshedpur from September 11 to 16.
