Unabated selling pressure across the board saw the Sensex finish with a huge loss of 112 points at 4,194. The Nifty dropped 43 points to close at 1,329.
The Sensex added 20 points to 6,017, and the Nifty finished at 1,890 - up 11 points.

The benchmark Sensex shot up to set another high over 8100 marks in early trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange on Monday on active buying by funds.
