Indian IT major Wipro on Saturday announced the resignation of its CEO Thierry Delaporte and named Srinivas Pallia as the new chief executive officer effective immediately. HCL Infosystems has posted a 234 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 34.35 crore for the third quarter ended March 31, 2003 as against Rs 10.28 crore for the corresponding quarter last fiscal.
