Sixteen years ago, the course of American history changed. Terrorists carried out four coordinated terror attacks killing 2,997 people, injuring over 6,000 people and leaving an indelible scar on people the world over. In the wake of the attack, the families of victims inaugurated a small museum on Liberty Street, Manhattan, called the 9/11 Tribute Center. In June of this year, the museum needing more space to redesign their exhibition after years of reflection reopened their museum at 92 Greenwich Street, now as a full and proper '9/11 Tribute Museum'. Here's a glimpse of the exhibit.

British police, who are investigating the attack on the streets of London in which a soldier was hacked to death by two suspected Islamist extremists, on Thursday carried out a series of raids in Greenwich and Lincolnshire. Anti-terror police forced their way into a flat and shattered the doorframe when they raided an address believed to belong to one of the attackers on a Greenwich housing estate.

If you want to look at nice space pictures, then we'd highly recommend the Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition. The UK's Royal Observatory Greenwich has chosen the winners of its 2018 Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, which honours photography of the cosmos across multiple categories, such as "People and Space," "Aurorae," and "Galaxies." The top prize was awarded to American photographer Brad Goldpaint, whose photo "Transport the Soul" captures Moab, Utah, with a photographer, rock formations, Andromeda and the Milky Way. This year's competition received over 4,200 entries from 91 countries around the world.
