The Indian Medical Association has condemned Rashtriya Janata Dal MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav's drive against doctors accusing them of charging "exorbitant" fees.
"We have made up our mind to go on two day strike unless our demands are met or we get an assurance in this regard from chief minister Nitish Kumar," BSHSA general secretary Ajay Kumar said.
Health services in Bihar were partially affected after nearly 2600 government doctors under the banner of Bihar State Health Services Association (BSHSA) boycotted work for 24 hours from 6 am on Tuesday.
