Veteran journalist Shesh Narayan Singh passed away on Friday while undergoing treatment for COVID-19 at a government hospital in Uttar Pradesh's Greater Noida, officials said.
The victim, a student of the Maulana Azad Medical College, had been gangraped near the busy Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg.
The court will pronounce the order on quantum of sentence on May 22.
