Tarun Tejpal's defence team argued before the Bombay High Court that the victim in the 2013 sexual assault case had a "propensity to lie," citing her post-incident conduct, which they claimed contradicted her assertions of being in deep shock. The defence highlighted her social activities and alleged discrepancies in her initial complaints regarding rape charges.
Tarun Tejpal's lawyer, Advocate Aabad Ponda, presented arguments before the Bombay High Court, challenging the victim's statements in the 2013 sexual assault case.
