A woman has been detained in Noida for allegedly assaulting a minor boy who requested her not to bring her pet dog into the lift of a residential building. The incident, captured on video, sparked outrage among residents. The woman was seen dragging the boy out of the lift despite his pleas. Police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
The two directors of the company named in the FIR, however, still remain at large.
Doctor Rajesh Talwar, accused of murdering his daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, was on Friday remanded to judicial custody for 14 days. The Noida police claimed to have cracked the case base on Dr Talwar's confession after they confronted him with questions based on information gathered from a 14-year-old friend of Aarushi.
