Goswami and the two other accused Feroze Shaikh and Nitish Sarda will have to appear before a magistrate court at Alibaug in neighbouring Raigad district of Maharashtra on Thursday, pursuant to summons issued to them in December 2020.
The governor had earlier conveyed to Deshmukh his concern over the manner in which Goswami was arrested, the statement said.
The charge sheet was filed before a court in Alibaug in neighbouring Raigad district, where the case for alleged abetment of suicide of interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother Kumud has been registered.

A sessions court in Mumbai has dismissed a criminal defamation complaint filed by a Mumbai police officer against Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami over certain claims made during the coverage of the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.
A division bench of Justices S S Shinde and M S Karnik said they will pass the order at the earliest, without giving any date.
The sessions court will continue hearing the revision application on Tuesday, special public prosecutor Pradip Gharat said. Goswami's lawyer Parkar said after the revision plea is heard, the court will take up the bail plea for hearing.
