Mohammad Ajmal Kasab, the lone terrorist captured for carrying out the Mumbai terror attacks, reportedly used a fake identity card in the name of a Hyderabad college. Investigators have found that Kasab was carrying a fake ID card of Arunodaya Degree College in Hyderabad's Dilsukhnagar. The college is situated near the Sai Baba temple in Dilsukhnagar where a scooter bomb was exploded in 2002.

Less than 48 hours after Jet Airways announced the retrenchment of 1,900 employees, the airline has decided to reinstate all the employees. Jet Airways Chairman Naresh Goyal, in the late evening press conference on Thursday, requested all the sacked employees to come back to work from Friday.

Naresh Agarwal, who defected from Samajwadi Party, on Wednesday joined the BSP which declared him as its candidate for the Lok Sabha polls from Farrukhabad seat, a day after another SP leader Dhaniram Verma was inducted into Mayawati-led party. Agarwal, who was transport minister in the erstwhile Mulayam Singh Yadav government, was inducted into the party by chief minister Mayawati.
