Arora was part of the group that had gone for dinner with Khan at the hotel when the alleged incident took place on February 22, 2012.
The actor was involved in a brawl with a South Africa-based businessman in February this year.
A local court on Thursday referred the 2012 assault case involving Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan for mediation.
