The administration in Madhya Pradesh's Khargone lifted the curfew with immediate effect on Wednesday evening, 24 days after it was imposed following violence during a Ram Navami procession on April 10, an official said.
Curfew continued in violence-hit Khargone city of Madhya Pradesh for the third day on Wednesday even as officials denied reports that over 100 families were forced to migrate from the city.
However, the affected family has rejected the offer as of now citing security concern and the administration said no formal order has been issued with regards to their relocation.
In the clip, which went viral on social media, an announcement on a truck-mounted sound system was heard about the call to boycott the community members, accusing them of spreading violence in Khargone.
