The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday registered a case in connection with the sensational 2010 killing of RTI Amit Jethwa outside the Gujarat high court in which a state Bharatiya Janata Party MP is a suspect.
The Central Bureau of Investigation on Saturday filed a chargesheet against sitting Bharatiya Janata Party MP Dinu Bogha Solanki in connection with the murder of RTI activist Amit Jethwa who had waged a crusade against illegal mining in Gir forest, the last abode of Asiatic lions.
Observing that the trial court conducted proceedings with a "predetermined notion of conviction", a division bench of Justices AS Supehia and Vimal K Vyas quashed the CBI court's order sentencing Solanki and the six others to life imprisonment.
The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday questioned Bharatiya Janata Party MP Dinu Bogha Solanki in connection with sensational murder of RTI activist Amit Jethwa who had filed a plea before the Gujarat high court against illegal mining in Gir forests.
'Who will vote for and against who will be clear once the election results are declared on December 18.'
