A teenager of Indian origin will be awarded the Diana Award for her "voluntary and selfless work" within the community of Leicester, a British town comprising a sizeable population of ethnic Indians. Kamalpreet Kau Aulakh, 16, will be presented the award by Manjula Sood, the Indian-origin Lord Mayor of Leicester on Monday, in recognition of her "selfless community work, compassion and work to improve people's lives."
