World Championship gold-medallist para shuttler Manasi Joshi has strongly criticised former Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina for allegedly mocking people with disabilities.
The shutdown has been complete in not only major cities like Kohima, Dimapur and Mokokchung, but even smaller towns such as Tuli, Jalukie, Pfutsero, CNCCI president Khekugha Muru told PTI.
"The (BCCI) recognition has happened but there is no roadmap for our sport, no one knows what's happening. We have also brought glory to the country on the cricket field and deserve to get (BCCI's) central contract," added Reddy.
The 39-year-old, the fifth child of an illiterate labourer couple and only the second of their eight to be educated, now helms various ventures that bring in a turnover of between Rs 75 crore and Rs 90 crore.
