Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, the chief guest of this year's parade, will witness 18 tableaux rolling down Rajpath.

The tableaux are from 13 states, each portraying themes ranging from heritage, culture, art and crafts, sustainable agriculture to environment.

Rediff.com gives you a sneak peek into this year's parade of tabeaux.
