Just in: Union Home Minister P Chidambaram addressing the media in New Delhi today says Karnataka Governor H R Bhardwaj performed his duty and there was no question of recalling him.

On Pakistan: We had some intelligence on the movements of Mullah Omar, but will have to wait and see whether reports that he is dead, are true. We have to remain on vigil constantly since we have a troubled neighbourhood.

On infiltration: We are keeping a close watch on the border.

Chidambaram has also alerted states in the wake of the terror attack in
Pakistan.
