Three top militants of Lashkar-e-Tayiba were arrested by Jammu and Kashmir police in Srinagar on Wednesday night.

The trio, identified as Faisal alias Vicky and Salahuddin, Ahtesham Malik alias Abu Hasham and Zuber Malik alias Abu Umar were nabbed at Batmaloo in central Srinagar, a police spokesman told PTI.

He said the ultras were active in Kandi and Sopore areas of Baramulla district for several months.

The arrest of these militants comes close on the heels of arrest of six local activists of the outfit in Sopore on Monday.
