Exfiltration bid foiled, 9 Bangladeshis held

Security personnel foiled an exfiltration bid and apprehended nine Bangladeshi nationals, including two women and three children. The group was trying to cross over to Pakistan at the international border along the RS Pura frontier sector in Jammu, official sources said  on Monday.

The Bangladeshis were arrested by army troops on Sunday from Badyal Brahmana area of RS Pura sector, when they were trying to cross over to the other side of the border.

After preliminary interrogation, they will be handed over to the police for further investigations, the sources said.
