Unidentified gunmen abducted a Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited official from his residence in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir [Images], officials said on Tuesday.
Officials said the gunmen barged into the house of BSNL Junior Telecom Officer Ghulam [Images] Nabi Malik at Warsu village, about 45 km from Srinagar [Images] on Monday night and forced him to accompany them at gunpoint.
The police had launched a hunt to trace the telecom official and his abductors, they added.
