Chinese armymen join Indians in celebrating I-Day

Chinese army personnel on Monday joined their Indian counterparts in celebrating the country's Independence Day at Chushul in Leh area, a defence spokesman said in Srinagar [Images].

At a meeting of border personnel of the 2 countries, the Chinese side exchanged gifts with their Indian counterparts as part of the Independence Day celebrations, he added.
 
Flag meetings between the armies of India and China take place twice every year on either side of Line of Actual Control in Ladakh area, the spokesman said.
