Girls fiddling with live shell killed

Three girls, aged between 7-9 years, were killed when they fiddled with a live shell that exploded in Batalik sub sector of Kargil [Images], official sources said on Monday.

The girls, who were grazing their cattle, died on the spot in the blast that took place Sunday evening, they said.

The girls -- Najma (7), Maqsooma (8) and Maqsooda (9) belonged to Lalung village.
