Hurriyat leader shot dead in Srinagar September 30, 2004 12:05 IST Unidentified gunmen shot dead Mohammad Rafiq Shah, a leader of the moderate faction of Hurriyat Conference, in Srinagar on Thursday, official sources said. Shah, who was president of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Liberation League, was shot dead at his house in Chinkral Mohalla in downtown Srinagar at around 1000 IST.
