PIX: Rajiniknath starts shooting for Kochadaiyaan

Last week, Tamil superstar Rajiniknath, his daughter Soundarya, and actors Sarath Kumar and Nasser left for London to start the shooting of their latest film Kochadiayaan.

The film -- produced by Eros International and Soundarya's Ocher Picture Productions -- is written by well known director K S Ravikumar and directed by Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya R Ashwin.

Incidentally, last Friday marked the directorial debut of his older daughter Aishwarya, with the film, 3.

Soundarya had temporarily shelved her earlier animation project Sultan the Warrior with her father and started Kochadaiyaan. Rajni also has shelved his K S Ravikumar-directed Rana to work on this film.

It is reported that Kochadiayaan is on the lines of Avatar and The Adventures of Tintin and will use 3D animation style.

Revealing the HD trailer of the film, Soundarya said that as a die hard fan of her father, she wanted to immortalise her father.
