PIX: Aditi, Sonam, Kangna's weekend out

At an event celebrating 100 years of Indian cinema held at the Taj Mahal Palace in south Mumbai over the weekend, actress Aditi Rao Hydari turned up in a beautiful Anita Dongre outfit.

The show's highlights included a 100-minute nostalgia trip with rare movie posters, musical performances and much bonhomie between stars.

Sonam Kapoor, who towered over almost everybody at the event in her Prabal Gurung suit and stilettos, interacts with Hydari on stage as Waheeda Rehman looks on.

The ladies were joined by Asha Parekh, Shabana Azmi and veteran singer Usha Uthap as the group put up a fun-filled impromptu performance.

Waheeda Rehman, who was particularly taken by Sonam's height, catches up with the young actress.

Incidentally, Waheeda is one of Sonam's favourite actresses.

Meanwhile, Vidya Balan travelled to Thane to inaugurate a new jewellery store dressed in a bizarre red outfit.

She tried on various neck pieces in display as fans clambered to get a glimpse at her.

Jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali, who has taken upon herself to vehemently deny reports of sister Sussanne and her actor husband Hrithik Roshan's split on Twitter, got the Krrish 3 star to her Bandra store to launch the Krrish 3 edition jewellery.

Meanwhile, Hrithik's wife Sussanne was spotted at Mumbai's House Of Tales, giving out tips on home decor.

Sussanne, incidentally, runs an interior design shop called the Charcoal Project.

Malaika Arora Khan was also present at the House of Tales.

Rajjo actress Kangna Ranaut unveiled the latest edition of Cine Blitz magazine -- she appears on the edition's cover -- dressed in a red Burberry dress.

Actress Sameera Reddy turned up at designer Neeta Lulla's flagship store in Santa Cruz, a western Mumbai suburb, for the launch of her bridal collection, in a Topshop jumpsuit and neon accessories.

Mere Dad Ki Maruti actress Rhea Chakraborty was also present.
